Evaluation of Pd-Co Bimetallic Electrocatalysts in the Formic Acid Oxidation Reaction

چکیده

The main focus of this research is the synthesis and evaluation Pd-Co bimetallic catalysts, in formic acid electrochemical oxidation reaction (FAOR). catalysts used were synthesized by electrodeposition using a choline chloride urea Deep Eutectic Solvent (DES) termed reline, as electrolytic medium. Electrodeposition potentials previously selected after analysis Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) Chronoamperometry (CA). electrode modified with nanoparticles (NPs) was for FAOR, which key direct fuel cells (DFAFCs). Electrodeposits characterized Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDX) to determine diameters, morphology elements that make up NPs.
